Collected Thoughts

I will start posting here more. Blogging is a great resource that is underutilized by yours truly. What is new with me Blog? Well I'll tell you old friend. I am working on cleaning my room at the moment, but I got distracted, which is not a habit I want to develop, but it is inevitable at times when you have a room full of books.

Is Science-fiction prophetic? Does YHWH deal with us through Progressive Revelation? How does that undermine the beliefs of Orthodox Christianity? Is there a healthy synthesis of faith and nature? To what extent have we superimposed presuppositions over our doctrine?

Is all of ancient Paganism merely, as Lewis posited, a slow focusing of myth into reality, until Yahshua came, and all of mythology crystallized into the being and person of our Lord and Savior?

Modern Christianity (tm) comes part and parcel with a whole load of presuppositions and filters.

Think well young Jedi.

Talk with you soon.

Upon seeing that I have 47 page views without having a single blog entry written, I think it's high time to start taking blogging a little bit more seriously. Thinking of an approach seemed a little daunting. I'm interested in a wide variety of subjects, but knowing how and where to focus this seemed a little daunting. So in the spirit of King David, who upon hearing that there was a giant Philistine challenging the Israelites to battle, immediately took up his sling, fell him, and chopped off the giant's head with his own sword, so I too am going to approach The Arena Of Ideas fearlessly and intentionally. And I hope to lob off the proverbial heads of false presuppositions, shallow and degrading hip-hop, Things In Modern Christianity That Are Whack, simplistic platitudes people use, and a wide range of other topics with their own inherent swords. Since the Arena of Ideas is a rough and tumble place, things might get messy... That might not be the best analogy, since I plan on talking about food, music, theology, and a lot of other things, but you get the idea....Viva la revolucion!
