Writing is meditative. Any pursuit is only as holy as the root of your actions and mind. As Lewis said, only the pure in heart will see God, because only the pure in heart will want to. Our desires, when they conform to His, become as noble as we let them. When we inherit the mind of Christ through regeneration and positional sanctification, we become positionally pure. The old man must still be put off daily however. And it is in this daily practice that I am humbled and taught.
